What an excellent new track by Os Ovni!
It’s coming out on 7” by the equally excellent Tundra Dubs label - with B-side by Modern Witch - which is amazing as well. I just placed a pre-order and everyone else can do that as well - PRE-ORDER HERE
Tearist - Disposition
this band is absolutely fierce and this video is spot on!

Here’s the new Zola Jesus video for Sea Talk which is apparently her new single for Stridulum II.
Then again it was already on last years split EP with Tzar Bomba. Great song though!
Isis - Not in Rivers but in Drops
I’m very sad to hear that Isis are quitting. They are overall one of my favourite bands. But to be fair, from an artistic standpoint, they probably achieved everything you can achieve in the genre of Prog / Sludge Metal.. therefore this might be just be a very consequent decision!
I love them for their epic songs, meandering themes and never being cheesy. It’s just incredible good music.
Also, having seen them live 2 or 3 times, I can confirm that they got just the right punch!
Check this amazing video for Not in Rivers but in Drops from their album In Absence of Truth, which is probably my favourite!
Factory Floor - Lying
This is one of the most interesting bands in London and whole UK at the moment.. (in my opinion ;)
Thee Oh Sees - Quadrospazzed
Amazing Video for Quadrospazzed from one of my new favourite bands, Thee Oh Sees. Looking forward to see them at ATP this weekend..
Found also a great interview with the Thee Oh Sees man John Dwyer that tells a lot: http://www.imposemagazine.com/features/interview-john-dwyer-of-thee-oh-sees
Blue on Blue - 3 AM
I think I mentioned to some people a couple of times before how much I love this new band of Dee - Blue on Blue! Blissful tiny little pop songs, a little bit sloppy, perfect in it’s own way, in the tradition of Galaxie 500, Pixies and the likes! I probably won’t stop posting videos of them until I posted every single song! Luckily a friend is filming almost every gig so won’t run out of that too quickly. This is 3AM which is breaking a bit with the pure pop paradigm and gliding a bit more into psychedelic / shoegaze, it’s always their set concluder and just brilliant!
