Enter The Void

I watched this film on Tuesday in the lovely Rio Cinema in Dalston and I can only say, I won’t recommend you to go see you unless you won’t blame me afterwards for ruining your day! It’s emotionally one the most intense film I’ve ever seen- Requiem for a Dream and the likes are a walk in the park compared to this!

Stylistically it is most definitely the most definable film I’ve seen in a long time! Okay there is Avatar and Inception, but none of these reaches the innovative cinematography, the incredible seemingly seamless cut, together with incredible post production!

It’s directed by Gaspar Noé who already made Irreversible - which I haven’t seen, and I am not so sure if I really want to see it.

Enter the Void is quite at the borderline - I don’t think I can see it again in the next couple of months, but visually it is so utterly fascinating and brilliant that I very probably have to revisit it soon, maybe in a year or so….

See my photos from the Wild Palms Single Launch - “Overtime” - in a warehouse in Dalston, London! Support came from the equally amazing Electricity in our Homes.
